Meet The Horses

Rumor was rescued in 2009 and has since excelled in both hunters and dressage, with a short stint in the jumper arena. She has taught many riders over the years and continues to do so, while now focusing on dressage. We love this big red mare, and she is definitely the barn princess. Everyone who knows Rumor is familiar with her dragon scream which can be heard across the property with ease. She is a huge part of the family and means so much to all of us.

Ransom is our resident lazy love bug. He wants hugs, cuddles, kisses, wither scratches, and stomach scratches. He is the sweetest horse on the farm and loves everyone. Ransom teaches most of our riders to canter, he is comfortable and such a good boy. In his mind, he is an Olympic champion and we don't have the heart to correct him. He is a gentle giant and is affectionately known as the Flying Elephant around the farm. Ransom retired in early 2024, and lives his days spoiled and relaxed.

Sunshine is the Queen of the barn and keeps us all in line, horses and humans alike. She loves treats, Rocky, her people and being adored by the masses. If you ask Sunny she is 17hh and boy would we be in trouble if she was!! Sunny is retired from riding due to a leg injury and is busy being Rocky's constant companion.

Since the loss of Rocky, Sunshine has been sticking close to Brinkley, and she continues to do well. This little girl is much loved by all who meet her.

This adorable youngster joined our herd 12/31/20. He is very playful and loves attention. Rocky and Sunshine have "adopted" him into their herd, and teach him everything he needs to know about life on the farm. Mid 2021 Brinkley had a health scare and took a long time to get well again, but he is finally back to himself, training well, and is a favorite.

Ridley joined our family on 9/29/21 and we are just in love with her. She is super sweet, and despite moments of nervousness, she tries really hard and always does her best. Ridley is a permanent member of our family, and much loved by all of us.

Don't let his age fool you. Laddy only just retired in March 2022. Still bright and happy, he runs up from the field for dinner every night. He is a grumpy old man (or so he would have us believe) and likes things a certain way. He is silly and very playful.

This amazing little mare is known around the barn as "The Big Cheese". Insanely scopey, endlessly sweet, and very talented, she is a super cool little mare with a personality as big as her jumping skills. She keeps us all entertained every single day.

What can't this amazing mare do? Maybe wash dishes, but we will love her just the same. This outstanding, talented mare is much loved by all who ride and handle her. Dressage, hunter, jumpers, eventing, you name it she does it with style.

We sadly lost our sweet Winston on 6/3/23 despite all efforts to save him following a horrific and sudden colic. We miss him terribly.

Patches is our all-around awesome kind of guy. He has been there, done that, and absolutely loves to please. He does english, western, jumping, and trails. He's a lot of fun and much loved!!

Marra is a new member of our team as of 2/15/23 and has quickly become a barn favorite.

Beautiful Marra is currently leased out, spending her days nearby enjoying relaxing trail rides.

Rouex is our lovely new lesson horse. She is super sweet and very friendly, and we are excited to see how she settles in to life on the farm
